5 ornaments - 4 patterns, 1 partial kit designed by Jean Hilton for Rainbow Gallery
Five small projects that stitch up quickly.
I found some color photo examples of these on the web which I am including.
Rainbow Gem #4 photo is partially stitched but you get the idea.
There are two different versions of Rainbow Gem #2 in the photos.
These do not use the suggested color way in the patterns but give you an idea of the designs.

5. Crown of Hearts, 1989, partial kit
The Rainbow Gem ornaments were freebies from Rainbow Gallery and the thread lists use all RG threads.
I can no longer find the patterns on the web.
Finish as ornaments, box tops, pillow inserts, frame them individually or all 4 together, or however you choose.
All 4 Rainbow Gems are geometrical, symmetrical, and diamond shaped and designed for 18 count mono canvas.
There is a suggested color way but using your own color way would also make beautiful ornaments.

1. Rainbow Gem #1

Stitch count 52 x 52. Finished size on 18 mesh canvas 3" square or 4" diamond.
Stitches include double straight cross stitch, mistake stitch, and 4-way continental.
2. Rainbow Gem #2
, 1996, pattern only
Stitch count 56 x 56. Finished size on 18 mesh canvas
3" square or 4.5" diamond.
Stitches include partial double straight cross stitch, cross stitch, laying long stitches, Jessica stitch or Rhodes stitch with Smyrna cross stitch, partial Scotch stitch, and backstitches.
3. Rainbow Gem #3
, 1996, pattern only
Stitch count 56 x 56. Finished size on 18 mesh canvas
3" square or 4" diamond.
Stitches include double straight cross stitch, cross stitch, long stitches, Smyrna cross stitch, diamond Jessica stitch, and Sprat's head.

Rainbow Gem #4
, 1996, pattern only
Stitch count 60 x 60. Finished size on 18 mesh canvas
3.5" square or 4.75" diamond.
Stitches include partial double straight cross stitch, Gobelin stitch, tent stitch, waffle stitch, fleur-de-lis crescent, Rhodes stitch, Jessica stitch, and Smyrna cross stitch.
5. Crown of Hearts, partial kit, 1989
Another small geometric ornament design, this one is from 1989.
The previous owner kitted this project with the included threads to make an elegant pillow insert.
Her plan is written on the master graph.
The color photo I found online uses a different color way.
There are detailed directions and the graphs are from that time period.
But they are perfectly clear.
Design size 92 threads square without border, 106 threads with border.
From the pattern - "Use for a Ring Bearer's pillow by incorporating wedding colors."
