    Description

    Believed to be plates exclusively made  for the Barcelona Spain boys academy 'La Masia de Can Planes 'or shortened to 'La Masia or Masia.  Although established in the 1700's ,the academy is still in existence .Cream color ,9 3/4" , rare vintage plate with hand painted orange , yellow and blue flowers. A border of medium shades of green surround the entire plate.The reverse side of the plate is quite unique hand painted with an abstract design of it's own and an identifying inscription. All research leads me to believe the information may be correct but I leave room for error.
