Classic Needlepoint

Description

Classic Needlepoint chart to stitch a lovely #99 Rosebud Posy picture or cushion. T is charted in black and white using symbols for each color. The colors are listed on the back as shown. They are Appleton wool or DMC floss. If it is stitched on canvas it is meant to be done on #10 interlock canvas. On cloth it would depend on how large or small you desired. It is meant to be cross-stitched on either. The stitch count is 100 x 100. It can be made larger by working more background there are no amounts of each color listed, however, from experience I have found that generally one skein of each color is enough. If it is not, the colors are so separated that a different dye lot would not matter. It does say “3 hanks” for background.
This is new. It has been opened so that I could photograph the contents for the viewer. It comes from a smoke free, pet free home.
