The knife has a stain-free, high-carbon steel blade with scalloped edge that provide lifelong quality and stability. The scalloped edge of the blade helps to cut through crust or tough outer skin without damaging the softer interior. The handle is made from polypropylene and withstands high temperatures, so the knives of this series can be washed in the dishwasher. Also it has a guard which helps your hand not to slip off on the blade.
