    Illustrations include a picture of Carrollton sketched by Howe in 1846, and a view of the public square in Carrollton, circa 1887.

    in the booklet are: the Sandy and Beaver Canal, the founding of Carrollton by Peter Bohort, other early settlers, Gen. B. F.
