    Product Details
[REAL DAMASCUS]: Damascus steel with a genuine natural pattern, Nineponder blade is forged with 67 layers of high carbon stainless steel, with a distinct and appealing natural pattern after rigorous hardening.
[VG10 CUTTING CORE]:The blade's cutting steel core is made of VG10 high carbon Japanese stainless steel, which contains rare metals such as cobalt (Co) for stiffness but not brittleness, chromium (Cr) for resistance to corrosion, molybdenum (Mo) for sharpness, and vanadium (V) for toughness.
[MILITARY-GRADE MICARTA HANDLE]: The black handle is made of military-grade Micarta and is designed specifically for experienced chefs who spend a lot of time preparing real things. The complex ergonomics design provides an appropriate weight distribution, which makes the handle comfortable to grasp and easy to operate. The full-tang technology and integrated design are used from the handle, resulting in unsurpassed durability.
[VACUUM HEAT TREATMENT METHOD]: The inherent qualities of a knife are dependent on the quality of heat treatment which makes up the core of the knife-making process. Nineponder vacuum heat treatment produces harder, sharper, and stronger tools than standard nitriding furnace heat treatment.
[Rockwell hardness is 60±2]: Because of the high-quality steel and a specialized forging process, the Rockwell hardness is up to an amazing 60±2HRC, allowing the force for cutting the food materials and the pressure on the ingredients to be reduced, thereby preserving the nutrition and natural taste of the food materials.
Nineponder Chef Knife is made up of 67 layers of high carbon stainless steel, with a cutting steel core of VG10 stainless steel including rare elements such as: cobalt (Co) for stiffness but not brittleness, chromium (Cr) for corrosion resistance, molybdenum (Mo) for sharpness and vanadium (V) for toughness. 33 layers of high-grade steel with somewhat lower hardness but extraordinarily high durability are used on each side of the blade. As a result, after the layers are piled and forged together and the blade is worn thin, the ultra-hard VG12 steel core is shown, making the blade sharp and strong. At the same time, a stunning natural pattern emerges on both sides of the blade.
