    The subscription is for the life of the radio and is not transferrable.  The radio works on the dock, but it can be a little quirky and needs to be adjusted so that it fits into the dock just perfectly to work.  I think it's an issue with the dock and no the radio.  You may want to find a new dock.  Otherwise fantastic condition.
