bought a bunch of these from a big company that sold Sirius to businesses. A guy at that company told me they have tried to deactivate the service but it appears that Sirius has no way to turn the service off. That's why the company couldn’t sell these to customers. Therefore, no guarantees, but it appears you get free service indefinitely with this unit. I've sold hundreds of these over the past few years and only a few have stopped working. I guarantee you’ll get at least a year or I will send you a replacement free. Quite a few people have come back and bought more for friends or family after they’ve seen theirs stay working 2-3 years.
