TM-MSAT-G2 TRANS-MOBILE SATELLITE PHONE
The KR Nida TM-MSAT-G2 has been designed to allow the rapid deployment and re-deployment of the Network Innovations MSAT-G2 satellite telephone. This unit also has available PTT dispatch capability via the Network Innovations’ satellite network. Within seconds, the magnetic antenna can be deployed, connected to the TM-MSAT-G2 case, and with power applied to the unit via internal battery, or external power, the unit is fully operational in less than five minutes.
The sat-phone RF unit and other components are housed in a Pelican 1450 case and covered by a custom powder coated and silkscreened sheet metal faceplate.
Included in the housing are the Network Innovations MSAT-G2 Satellite Phone, Radio and telephone display handset, low voltage & charge indicators, all cooled by an thermistor controlled internal cooling fan. An adjustable gooseneck light is provided for low-light operation.
The trans-mobile unit can also double as a portable base station using an antenna extension cable, base station antenna mount along with the hand-set and speaker extension cable kit.
An internal speaker amplifier is included to provide clear audio, even in loud environments. A 1⁄4” phone jack is provided for an optional “receive only” headset. Two head-sets and two hand-sets can be used with each unit.

The SVR-200 is a microprocessor controlled, synthesized low power vehicular repeater. It is designed to interface between the TM-MSAT-G2 satellite unit and a low-power hand-held radio. If the TM-MSAT-G2 operator is out of the vehicle and the mobile or satellite radio is receiving a transmission, the SVR-200 will repeat the signal. The TM-MSAT-G2 is receiving to the hand-held radio. The hand-held radio may also transmit back to the TM-MSAT-G2. The SVR200 will allow local in-building use of the TM-MSAT-G2.
